About BDKH
The Association of the German Nursery Products Industry (BDKH) represents the specific interests of manufacturers producing and consumers buying quality baby products. As the first association within the German-speaking countries focussing on this branch of industry it was founded in September 2013 in Cologne. The founding members are seven manufacturers of baby quality products well-known throughout Europe. Since then many more members have joined.
BDKH represents its interests also on a European level, being a member of the European Nursery Products Confederation (ENPC). There BDKH member manufacturers contribute to organization politics and benefit from synergies. So on a European level the industry speaks with a single strong voice and has a common vision in business and politics and towards consumer organizations.
All member manufacturers have signed up and committed themselves to a Code of Conduct. They profit from the Association’s general targeting, but also from regular workshops and meetings which offer a broad exchange of views and experience. New members are welcome to use a free of charge legal advice or website check on the compliance of the General Data Protection Regulation. BDKH represents every single member manufacturer at the trade fair Kind + Jugend and furthermore offers active media work.
