BABY INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION

One for all

We are a skills network, an industry association, a place where experience is shared. We bring manufacturers of nursery products together under one roof – into an association of different people with common goals. Our Members include small and mid-sized owner-managed businesses as well as large international conglomerates and new start-ups. The membership fees are related to turnover. That way, the large businesses help ensure that the small ones are also at the table and joining in the conversation. Because that’s what it’s about: making contacts, developing relationships, learning from one another and shaping the future. By taking the broader view, we can open up new horizons.

A changing market, shifting sales channels and falling birth rates are challenges that are almost too great for any one company. Our aim is to represent and extend your interests as a manufacturer of nursery products. As an association, we use our shared strength to campaign for the best possible conditions in our industry. As a Member of BDKH you will be driving important projects forward and getting yourself onto the agenda. We know products

Our members represent the entire breadth of children’s products in the field of durables: prams & pushchairs, car seats, high chairs, bicycle seats, furniture, textile goods, changing bags, hygiene and bath products, eating and drinking, baby toys, the sleeping environment, breastfeeding, outdoor & travel, cycling accessories, baby carriers and baby monitors. Our diversity is reflected in the way different sectors of the market and company sizes interact and share experience with one another.

Code of Conduct

For fair competition

The members of the BDKH sign up to a voluntary Code of Conduct and thereby acknowledge their corporate responsibility. Our businesses abide by respectable business practices and act in accordance with the applicable competition legislation. This also applies to work on behalf of the Association. Fair dealings with one another are taken as a matter of course, and are essential for the free development of markets for the common good. The Association and its members observe the applicable regulations and standards for nursery products. More than that – we work continuously to improve those standards.
