Little Heroes Living Safely

A large number of children here is still involved in accidents every year. Their best protection from injury is the knowledge and preventive action of adults. It was for this reason that the national Association founded the ‘Little Heroes Living Safely’ initiative. Providing comprehensive information on risks and dangerous situations is a matter close to our hearts and one to which we have dedicated an entire website.

Reduction in VAT

Even in a wealthy country like Germany, children are at risk of poverty. Many families resort to second-hand or older models even of safety products such as child car seats. We urge those in political power to reduce VAT on certain children’s products and services, so as to relieve the cost burden.

Sustainability strategy

Preserving the global fundamentals of life and an environment in which children can grow up healthy is one of our core responsibilities as parents and businesspeople. It is for this reason that we have appended to our Code of Conduct a ‘climate list’ setting out at least two action points every year for our members. We also offer assistance in drawing up a sustainability strategy.

Digitalisation

Trading and the exchange of information is no longer a purely analogue process but has for a long time been largely digital. The latest generation of parents have grown up with smartphones. The mobile phone is their tool of choice when it comes to searching for information, services and nursery products. The Association can show you how to achieve digital visibility and how to display your products virtually.
